QUESTIONS,ANSWERED.
Are gymnastic rings suitable for beginners?
Yes. Gymnastic rings can be adjusted to your current strength level by changing the exercise, body angle or range of motion. Beginners can start with movements such as ring rows, assisted push-ups and support holds before progressing to more advanced skills. RingsX provides exercises and training plans for both beginners and experienced athletes.
Can you build muscle with gymnastic rings?
Yes. Gymnastic rings can be used to train your chest, back, shoulders, arms and core. Exercises can be progressively made harder by increasing the range of motion, changing leverage, adding repetitions or advancing to a more difficult variation. Consistent training, recovery and suitable nutrition are also important for building muscle.
How often should you train with gymnastic rings?
Most beginners can start with two or three sessions per week, leaving enough time to recover between workouts. More experienced athletes may train more frequently by alternating muscle groups, workout intensity and skill practice. Your ideal frequency depends on your experience, goals and recovery.
What equipment do you need?
You need a secure pair of gymnastic rings and a stable place to hang them, such as a pull-up bar, ceiling mount or suitable outdoor structure. Make sure the attachment point and straps can safely support your body weight. A training mat and resistance band can also be helpful, but they are optional.
Does RingsX provide structured workout plans?
Yes. RingsX provides structured gymnastic-rings workouts and personalized training plans designed around your level, goals and performance. The app helps you build strength, develop ring skills and follow a clear progression instead of training without a plan.
Is RingsX available for iOS and Android?
RingsX is available for iOS on the App Store as Calisthenics Rings - RingsX. The Android version is launching soon on Google Play.
